A full wardrobe and nothing to wear? The problem is rarely that you own too little. It is that your clothes do not fit your real life, do not fit you, or do not work together. This book shows you, step by step, how to build a smaller wardrobe that does all three.
You will map how you actually spend your week, find three style words that guide every choice, and edit your current clothes in one focused weekend using four piles and five simple questions. Then you will choose a colour palette that makes everything mix, check fit like a pro, and build a core capsule adapted to office, home, hot or cold climates.
Inside you will also find twelve outfit formulas, a worked example showing how ten pieces make almost forty looks, a ten-piece travel capsule, advice for changing bodies, a cost-per-wear method, in-shop quality checks, clothing care basics and a four-week day-by-day plan. Any size, any age, any budget. No magic number, no beige uniform.

Before you buy anything, you edit what you have. Set aside a morning or afternoon, around three to four hours. Do it in daylight if possible, near a full-length mirror. Empty one category at a time. All trousers out, then all tops, then dresses, and so on. Seeing every pair of trousers you own in one heap is eye-opening. Hold each item and ask the five questions. Try on anything you have not worn recently. Sort quickly. If you hesitate for more than a few seconds, it goes to Maybe. Do not get stuck. The five questions: Have I worn this in the last year (or the last relevant season)? Does it fit my body as it is today? Does it suit my real life percentages? Does it match at least one of my three style words? Can I make at least three outfits with other things I own? Two kinds of clothes are hardest to let go of. For sentimental items, keep them, but not in your daily wardrobe. For expensive mistakes, remember that the money is already spent; keeping the item does not bring it back, it only costs you space and a small pang of guilt every time you see it.
